Dark Meeting

"Damn it..." His right arms had deep cuts through them and his left had the blood of his enemy. His right arm laid limp agaist his body as he slowly walked into the town. He called Joanna's name loudly but with a gentle tone to it. He coughed up some blood and now gripped his left hand in agonny.

Joanna heard Tobi call her moving she looked around the corner , she gasped at the sight she saw , then moved to step out from where she had been hiding " Tobi?" she asked softly as she ran over stopping just in front of him "why can't he leave me alone" she said her hands reaching for him.

Tobi fell to his knees and coughed up some more blood. "I'm sorry I couldn't finish him off..." Tobi felt his head become a haze. "But...he's gone for now."

Joanna moved to hold him close to her her tears now falling "lets get you some help" she said her hand caressing his cheek as she looked at him with tear stained eyes "don't you go dyeing on me , please" her voice pleading with him

"I don't need any help, just some rest...don't worry I can't die, or at least right now." Tobi said smiling at her gently as he kissed her gently. "Love please lets just get an inn to stay in."

Joanna gently kissed him back wrapping her arms around him helping him to stand "Its not far from here" she said as slowly she lead him back to the Inn and the room he had bought for her.

Soon she pushed open the door and laid him on the bed gathering things to clean him up with to occupie her mind

Once they got into the inn he slide his jacket off and then his shirt, He wrapped his shirt around his wound. He laid down on the bed and took deep breaths and slowly tried to calm his mind. "Come here my sweet."

Joanna stopped what she was doing turning she went to lay with Tobi on the bed "now you know what he wants" she said softly " he won't stop till he has me and his new king" her arms gently holding him tight.

He gently flicked her head "Wrong." He said gently kissed her and then smirked said "He'll stop when I strike him down." Tobi feel laying on the bed and taking her down so she laid on his good arm.

Joanna looked at him and sighed as he kissed her "he was kind till my mother disappeared, then he changed came after me on the day i came of age, that day..." she stopped and shivered even feeling the warmth from him as she lay holding him in her arms

"Don't shiver my sweet, I will make sure he will not harm you anymore." Tobi kissed her "I mean if him and I keep meeting I'm gonna beat him before he defeats me, he hurt my arm, I gored out his eyes. I mean my wound will heal he won't."

joanna looked at his arm "I should get to cleaning that before it gets infected" she said she wanted to sit up but she stopped herself not wanting to let him go to feel him against her always.

"Alright my sweet." He slowly got up with her in his arms. "His shirt had became completly red but it had started to lessen up. Tobi slowly untied and throw his bloody shirt to the floor.

Joanna grabbed a bowl of warm water and a cloth dampening it she began to clean the cuts soon her top became bloodied but she kept cleaning it taking a bandaged she leaned forward and wrapped it around "that should do to hold it" she said her hand resting gently on his arm her other on his knee

"Thank you, my dear." He said as he stood up gently and got an other towel and wetted one side of it and cleaned the blood off Joanna. He smiled at her and then cleaned off his robe and put it on. "I believe we were going for pancakes?" He said smiling at her his insides were secretly screaming in horrible pain.

Joanna felt him wipe down her top she took hold of his hand "waffles i believe and we don't have to we could just stay here for you to rest" she said her hand held his as she took the cloth and let it drop to the bed

"I'm fine, I'm a quick earlier." He moved to hold her hand gently. "Lets go eat some waffles." Tobi said as he smiled at her.

Joanna nodded "ok but we'll take it slow" she said her arm moving to around his waist "and I'm not letting you out of my sight" she spoke with a slight chuckle in her voice as they left the room and back out side, as she walked she couldn't help get the feeling they were being watched.

"Don't worry my arm was hurt not my legs." Tobi said with a happy smile. "Though I need to take a bit of a detour first though, follow me love." Tobi said as he began to walk a little faster to a darker alley.

Joanna followed him her arm around him still that feeling still nagged her that they were being watched but she smiled as she slid her hand to hold his as they walked "what's down here?" she asked

"I need to get something I asked a person to ship it here to a dealer." He entered a small shop the smell of steel and smoke was here as Tobi moved to talk to a man they talked to him and then he gave him a blade and a sheif that had a sling on it. He placed it under his robe and behind his back. "Lets go." He said to Joanna.

Joanna smelt the steel and smoke that hung in the air it tickled her nose she stood looking at the weapons hat lay around and she knew what he had come for , on hearing his voice she nodded and took hold of his hands again now a little more confident that the next time her father came for her he would be prepared "waffles" she said now with a soft smile

"I had it shipped from the last town it was in, it would have been alot more useful if I would have had it earlier. "Now waffles." He said as he slipped his fingers between hers. He went to the waffle joints that they went to yesterday.

Joanna sighed she felt happy again the fear she had when her father appeared now gone as she felt his fingers entwined with his "is that want you will fight him with" she asked as they sat down at a table out side the shop.

"No I will defeat him with my love for you." Tobi said as he found the waffle place from yesterday and ordered the same as yesterday. "I'm starved." Tobi grinned as his belly grumbled.
