Cooling off and relaxing

A hood laid over Tobi's head and he wore a long jacket that covered his body. He squinted in the sun light and looked around for a place to cool off and relax. He found a small outside shop that sold ice cream and shaved ice. Tobi quietly took a seat there.

Joanna walked down the road her red hair now wet with the sweat she felt running down her back as she walked, she saw the ice cream shop and dug deep into her pocket taking out the last two coins , moving towards it she suddenly stopped seeing a boy sat out side her heart started to race as she felt the panic rise from inside her.

Tobi looked around and saw the girl, she looked rather tired and pretty stressed out. "Are you alright miss?" Tobi said getting turning to her with a small smile. He slowly walked toward her.

Joanna looked at him as he walked towards her, she wanted to tell him to stop but her head spun from the heat and the panic she now felt and she sank to her knees in front of him

He slowly lowered himself to her so she was eye level with him again. "Miss it's alright, you look stressed here let's get you something to cool off." He asked and paid for strawberry icecream and gently palced it in her hands.

Joanna looked at him "Th...Thankyou" she said feeling the cool Ice cream in her hands she moved it placing it against her head and sighed smiling as she felt its cooling against her skin, her panic fading with each second she sat. "I guess, i had too much sun, I've been walking for hours"

"You should take a seat miss, and relax a little." Tobi said offering her one of the seats at one of the tables in the outside shop. Tobi then ordered an ice cream for himself and watched her to wait for an anwser.

Joanna stood shakily up and moved to the seat sitting down she now felt her feet ached she placed he bowl on the table and slowly ate the cold ice cream feeling it cool her from the inside out "Thank you for the Ice cream" she said softly now feeling a bit more like herself

"It was no problem miss, would you mind if I took a seat with you?" Tobi asked taking a bite of his own ice cream. Tobi loved cold foods and when it was really cold outside it helped numb the constant pain he always felt. "My name is Tobi."

Joanna would normally run at this request but she was tired and hungry and the ice cream was too good "please " she said motioning to the space beside her "my name's Joanna, Joanna knight" she said taking another spoon of the ice cream.

"Thank you." Tobi said taking the seat and then taking in some ice cream. "I forgot that ice cream was so good, it's been quite some time since I was in a town." Tobi said taking in an other bite. He slowly removed the hood over his head.

Joanna glance momentarily at him her eyes catching a glance of him "yeah its good " she said her red hair hanging half over he bowl as she ate ,not knowing what he was going to do she kept looking at him curiose but watchful too.

He continued to eat his ice cream "So do you live in this town or are you just visiting it?" Tobi asked wondering about Joanna. He found he very curious and wanted to know more about her.

Joanna looked at him "I came to find work" she said finishing the bowl and sliding it across the table now feeling much better "among other things"

"I see, what else do you seek?...that is if your comfortable tellign, I wouldn't want to perster you about anything. Would you like an other ice cream?" Tobi asked with a small smile. He looked at her deeply trying to understand her better.

Joanna looked at him "I came to find...to find something that's.. that's missing from inside me" she said and shook her head "no Thank you" she rested her head i her hands yawning as she did as her tiredness crept up on her "Please do you know where i can find a bed for the night i feel so tired?" her eyes looking sleepily at him

"Well I'm not sure, but I'm sure if we both looked for a hotel or inn than I'm sure we could find one." Tobi said with a small smile.
"So Miss Joanna are you a human? Or are you something else?" He stood up putting his hood back on so the sun wouldn't hurt his eyes.

Joanna sat up and looked at him with her sleepy eyes "Huh? I think human" she said yawning again "I'm sorry, guess i am just tired"

"It's alright, lets go find you a place to stay then alright?" Tobi said gesturing for her to follow him. He felt complied to help everyone he could even with such a mundane task as this. Maybe it could lead to a whole adventure on it's own. He thought as he gestured to her.

Joanna stood up slowly and took a deep breath as she felt her feet complain as she took her first step towards him , she hadn't realised just how tired and sore she was , she winced at the pain she felt from the soles of her feet the shoes offering little protection.

"Are you alright? Lets take this as quickly or as slowly as you need." Tobi said walking towards her in concern. He gently laid a hand on her shoulder and looked into her eyes.

joanna looked up at him "its... its just my feel hurt" she said the pain now sitting in her eyes as she looked at him "I guess i did too much walking"

Tobi knew the pain too well, he was always in pain. He slowly looked around and saw an inn nearby, he saw a small inn that had a few 1 bed shacks. "There Joanna it's not much futher and you can rest for the night."

Joanna looked at where he was pointing and Nodded taking a step towards it but found he moved to hold on to him as her legs almost gave under her as she moved with him to the inn

Tobi knew that this would cause a slight pain with him but he hated to watch others suffer, he gently swept Joanna into his arms and shy walked over to the small inns. "You looked like you had some trouble walking..."
